Sing Winter

Description

A two-part treble song, Sing Winter can be fun for your students while also challenging. In seven, the piece easily subdivides as three + two + two. Once started, students can just “get in the groove and go.” In measures 29 – 36, beats 1, 2, 3 of part 2 and 4, 5, 6 and 7 of part 1 work together. Let the students slowly speak the eighth notes until they are aware of how the parts fit together before adding the rest of the notes and text.
