Six very easy add-a-note duets for beginning recorder students, starting with the notes B, A and G. Synthesizer accompaniments present a variety of styles. Two performance options: S, SS. Accompaniment CD is not included in this product.

American Recorder says, "Six For Two continues the format of Easy 8, but is scored for Soprano I and (optional Soprano) II. The music offers the teacher an option to have the students perform in unison…The stylistic variety makes this suite interesting. The first piece incorporates only three notes. Each succeeding piece adds another note until eight notes have been used. The rhythmic patterns go no farther in difficulty than dotted quarter notes and eighth notes. Students will really enjoy the final selection, "Whatís That?" with its avant-garde sound effects."
