We sure have had a lot of fun working with BoomwhackersÆ. And apparently, we’re not the only ones. Since we began publishing music for these colorful, pitched plastic tubes, we have found them to be a real classroom favorite. Kids of all ages really think they’re cool and fun to play, and teachers really love the enthusiasm and interest they spark in their students.

One of our most popular BoomwhackerÆ collections has been A BoomwhackerÆ Christmas. So, by popular demand, the creative writers at Music K-8 have created We Wish You A Whacky Christmas. It’s a whole new collection of seasonal songs for BoomwhackersÆ and other joyous instruments.

All of the arrangements are carefully structured to work with young players, and while all are designed to work with one or more sets of Diatonic BoomwhackersÆ (C Major or Bass), some arrangements offer the option for the Chromatic Add-ons or have optional second parts to include more players and expand learning possibilities. (Be sure to check out a new way to play your BoomwhackersÆ – see Boomwhacker Central.) All of the songs are included on the Performance/Accompaniment CD, though some can easily be performed with just BoomwhackersÆ and simple classroom percussion. As you would expect from Plank Road Publishing, the recordings are of the highest quality, featuring world-class performers playing real instruments.

We Wish You A Whacky Christmas includes:

Angels We Have Heard On High

The Holly And The Ivy

Over The River

We Wish You A Whacky Christmas

We Three Kings

The First Noel

I Saw Three Ships

Here We Come A-Caroling
