Description
Introducing Alto Recorder to Recorder and Orff Ensembles
by Robert Amchin.
Difficulty Level 2.
In this collection, alto recorder parts are written with a limited pitch set, allowing beginning alto players to be successful in their first recorder consort experiences. In contrast, soprano recorder parts are more challenging and are for more experienced students. Each selection also includes an optional Orff ensemble accompaniment for those classes using these instruments. Add your own ideas, play as recorder duets, rearrange accompaniments with other instruments, add chording instruments, and improvise interludes between repetitions of each piece.
