Collection of 8 soprano and alto recorder duets with piano and/or Orff accompaniment. These duets are arranged for the classroom or for a select ensemble, and were integrated in the general music classroom at the 5th grade level. If you feel your students are not ready for alto recorder, another option is to transfer the alto recorder part to an alto xylophone. You have your choice of using the Orff accompaniment or the piano accompaniment.

With the exception of one song, all other songs use only three or four notes in the alto part. The range of the recorder parts is as follows:

SR: E, G, A, B, C, D & E

AR: G, A, B, C, D, E, F & G

To assist with the teaching process, a condensed visual of each Orff part is included on the CD.

Improvisation is encouraged throughout the collection. CD includes pdf and wav files.

Permission is granted for purchaser of this package to download the CD and make copies for one school.
